I don't like war at all, but this isn't about that, it is about people, and I'm all about people. Our veterans deserve a lot more than this kind of casual treatment. Our military just swallows vulnerable people whole, uses them to their own twisted end, and after it is done with them, regurgitates those same service members without a care toward their long term well being. Absolutely disgraceful, given the size of our defense budget and the amount of money that goes to private contractors for military projects. Read the article below to see why I'm so utterly disgusted.

New Consumer Agency Is Frightfully Necessary -- And Late
"Had it existed, the new consumer agency could have stopped these problems before they multiplied. Many of the failures already admitted were not sophisticated scams that had been carefully concealed. By enforcing existing laws and involving state authorities early on, the agency could have made sure that the law was respected. No one would need to wonder whether the world of borrowing and lending works only one way: Families have to follow the legal rules, but the rules are optional for big banks."
Elizabeth Warren
She is a modern day hero to me. Kind of like a modern day Robin Hood. Follow the link to read an article she wrote for the Miami Herald about the Consumer Protection Agency and why it is terribly important.

Things That Make You Want To Scream A Scream That Breaks All The Glass In The World
Rescued Banks Teeter Towards Collapse
Put your trust in financial institutions that care nothing about the nation in which they reside or its' people and you will wake up one day to find the nation and the people have nothing left to call their own. Financial institutions are all about indentured servitude and slavery.
Job Market Booming Overseas For Many American Companies
Put your trust in companies trying to do nothing more than sell items and make hefty profits and eventually you will find out you've been swindled out of your job and that your community's/nation's economic future is screwed. Once again, it is all about indentured servitude and slavery.

A Teen's Third World America
This story exemplifies why our country has chosen the wrong path and how it consistently fails its' own people, by choice. I wish E.J. Montoya's story was unique, but it is simply one of tens of millions of horridly similar stories, from across the nation. Unless we work to fix this quickly the problems will continue to compound and most of us will be living his story.
