It is horrible to see any living thing suffer. Every living thing on the plant relies on others to survive. Many quite literally have to give their lives so other creatures may live, but there is a natural balance,an order. Man has chosen to break that balance. Man is worse than any other creature, because he chooses to ignore suffering and for the most part has lost the respect and empathy for other living things. No good can come of that.

This is just terrible. I have a backyard hen house and have a firsthand knowledge and respect for the role that these birds play in our lives.
