Wow! This is the first I've heard about this film - and it's going to be a 'must-see'. I well recall the controversy surrounding the release of 'Cruising' (in fact it's the only time I've ever written to a cinema-manager!) - but the climate re gays has changed beyond recognition in the 30+ years since then - at least in this country (U.K.), and immeasurably for the better, though sadly NOT for many other parts of the world.
